The good life. I all too often take for granted the beautiful place I live in, and it takes an adventure into the mountains to remind me. Going up the mountain, I felt closer to my Heavenly Father seeing all of his beautiful creations that He has put on this earth for me to enjoy. If you ever forget how amazing life itself is, take a trip to the Alpine Loop in the autumn. You will be quickly reminded of who you belong to.

I love the Alpine Loop. I can't even begin to count how many drives I took up there. My roommates and I would go during the fall and winter, often in the middle of the night. We'd drive and talk about boys and what our futures were going to be like. It was so fun! And you're right, it's so beautiful up there. I always loved all of the white bark aspen trees. So beautiful. We did roommate pictures up there one year and they turned out so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love to read about all of things you are doing. Some of them are the same things I did at BYU and some are completely different. It's so nice that we have some common things and some that are unique to our own experiences. Aren't you so glad you went to BYU?!
Aunt Diana, I am so thankful I went to BYU. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is so hard, but I love it so much. One of my roommates just went up there to do engagements. I love the way the light comes through the trees and the way all of the colors mesh together. :)
